Senior Developer Productivity Engineer

Responsibilities
- Automate CI/CD pipelines supporting zero-downtime deployment strategies such as Canary and Blue/Green deployments.
- Create smart, reusable pipelines and streamline build, test, and deployment workflows.
- Build shared tooling including CLIs, code generators, and IDE plugins.
- Reduce developer friction through faster builds, hot reload, and improved test tooling.
- Collaborate with developers to identify workflow pain points and improve engineering productivity.
- Document and champion engineering best practices.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or 5+ years of industry experience in DevOps/SRE, developer tooling, or infrastructure engineering.
- Proficiency in Python, Go, and JavaScript/TypeScript for tooling, automation, and front-end enablement.
- Strong experience with GitHub Actions, ArgoCD, and GitOps for scalable, reusable pipelines.
- Experience with local development environment tooling such as Skaffold and containerized development workflows.
- Experience creating starter templates with engineering teams to enable rapid service spin-up.
- Preferred experience with Kubernetes, EKS, K3s, Terraform, Ansible, Pulumi, React, Next.js, Jest, Prometheus, Grafana, or Honeycomb.
