Responsibilities
- Lead the adoption of Fin by helping prospects unlock the power of Intercom’s AI capabilities.
- Embed deeply with strategic customers to understand their business challenges and technical requirements.
- Work hands-on with customers’ technical teams as a subject-matter expert and trusted advisor.
- Collaborate closely with Sales, Success, and Product teams to ensure seamless customer experiences.
- Lead and evolve the Forward Deployed Engineering function, sharing insights and shaping operations.
- Leverage connections across strategic accounts to anticipate challenges and influence decisions.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to Forward Deployed Engineers and Solutions Engineers.
Requirements
- Experience building SaaS products, preferably as a founder or early engineer at a startup.
- Demonstrated track record of autonomous decision-making and accountability for outcomes.
- Interest in AI/ML with the ability to quickly understand new concepts.
- Strong cross-functional collaboration skills and ability to navigate organizational boundaries.
- Deep knowledge of a high-level programming language such as JavaScript, Python, or Ruby.
- Decisive and pragmatic, knowing when to prototype and when to delegate.
- Proficient in using and writing REST APIs for effective system integration.
- Strong communication skills tailored to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Willingness to travel and work on-site with customers.
