Base Salary

Responsibilities
- Build and support cloud-native applications, APIs, microservices, and event-driven solutions on AWS.
- Develop backend services and automation in Python.
- Design services and data solutions for market data, pricing, analytics, and pre-trade workflows.
- Build and maintain infrastructure as code using Terraform, AWS CDK, or CloudFormation.
- Maintain automated testing, monitoring, observability, production support, and incident management practices.
- Optimize application performance, reliability, scalability, and AWS costs.
- Lead technical discussions, code reviews, and architecture reviews.
- Mentor junior and mid-level engineers.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience designing, building, and maintaining high-throughput, reliable ETL/ELT data pipelines using Python and SQL.
- 5+ years of hands-on experience with major cloud platforms, including AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Experience with AWS S3, Glue, Redshift, Azure Data Factory, BigQuery, and AWS Glue environments.
- Strong experience with Git, production support, observability, and incident management.
- Experience designing and developing APIs, microservices, distributed systems, and event-driven architectures.
- Experience with Docker and container orchestration platforms, including ECS and EKS.
- Experience with infrastructure as code using Terraform, AWS CDK, or CloudFormation.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Finance, or Quantitative Finance.
- AWS certification is preferred.
- Experience in energy trading, commodities, market data, pricing, or financial markets is preferred.
- Microsoft Azure experience, Athena or Redshift experience, C#/.NET, React, Angular, and Azure certifications are nice to have.
