Responsibilities
- Own the technical roadmap and architecture of the core simulation platform.
- Design and scale cloud-native simulation pipelines for rapid policy iteration.
- Develop advanced contact models and actuator dynamics for sim-to-real transfer.
- Lead the development of sensor-realistic environments for robot vision capabilities.
- Collaborate with Control and AI research teams to drive the evolution of tools.
Requirements
- Excellent C++ and Python programming skills.
- Familiarity with software development best practices, including CI/CD and automated testing.
- Technical leadership experience in robotic simulation.
- Understanding of robotics concepts like kinematics, dynamics, and controls.
- Experience with modern robotic simulators like IsaacLab and MuJoCo.
- Understanding of Reinforcement Learning and VLAs.
- Experience managing large-scale training workloads on cloud platforms.
- Familiarity with game engines like Unity or Unreal.
- MS or PhD in relevant fields with significant experience in robotic simulations.
