Base Salary

$120k - $144k/yr

Responsibilities

Lead code and design reviews and help maintain development standards.
Participate in the full application lifecycle, including coding, debugging, design, deployment, and maintenance.
Build reusable code and libraries for functional web applications using an API-first approach.
Troubleshoot application and production issues, respond to on-call incidents, and minimize service disruptions.
Set up and maintain environment configurations, monitor system health, and optimize application performance.
Develop unit, UI automation, and integration tests while improving test coverage and development tools.
Collaborate with developers, designers, system administrators, engineering teams, product teams, customers, and vendors.
Mentor junior engineers and provide training, technical support, and proactive communication.
Manage and modernize legacy applications and contribute to technical and design requirements.

Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
At least five years of related software development experience, or three years with an advanced degree.
Strong programming skills in Java or C# and proven full-stack development experience.
Experience with JavaScript frameworks such as React and Angular, plus HTML and CSS.
Experience developing and deploying applications for cloud-native infrastructure.
Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases, data structures, performance optimization, and caching mechanisms.
Practical knowledge of REST API best practices, including security, scalability, and performance.
Experience developing unit, UI automation, and integration tests.
Experience monitoring and supporting production systems, resolving issues, and implementing proactive measures.
Ability to participate in an on-call rotation and work effectively across engineering and product teams.
Preferred experience with SaaS offerings, technology or financial industries, AWS, Kubernetes, OpenTelemetry, and Vue.js.
Ability to use AI-assisted workflows for code generation, testing, refactoring, and modernization.
