Responsibilities
- Design, code, and enhance custom software solutions and application components.
- Administer SAP HANA databases, including performance tuning, backup and recovery, security, user roles, and authorizations.
- Troubleshoot complex database issues and provide timely resolutions to minimize downtime.
- Use database monitoring tools and automation scripts to optimize administrative tasks.
- Act as a subject-matter expert, contribute to team decisions, and provide solutions across multiple teams.
- Lead process improvements, mentor junior team members, and coordinate cross-functional communication.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience in SAP HANA database administration.
- Proficiency in SAP HANA DB Administration.
- Strong knowledge of database architecture, performance tuning, and backup and recovery strategies in SAP HANA environments.
- Experience managing database security, user roles, and authorizations.
- Ability to troubleshoot complex database issues and resolve them promptly.
- Familiarity with database monitoring tools and automation scripts.
- 15 years of full-time education.
