Responsibilities
- Define and own the long-term technical vision for core Marketplace, Scheduling, Booking, and Provider Operations systems.
- Architect scalable fullstack systems that support high-volume matching, transactions, availability management, and operational workflows.
- Design and evolve matching, search, and personalization capabilities, including semantic search and recommendation systems.
- Continually improve key marketplace flows such as appointment management and provider discovery.
- Develop operational frameworks for planning, prioritization, incident management, and delivery excellence.
- Use data to measure impact and optimize marketplace performance and provider-client matching success.
- Lead and mentor a high-performance engineering team, enhancing technical execution and problem-solving.
- Create documentation and architectural guardrails to ensure consistency and quality across the engineering lifecycle.
- Advocate for client and provider experience needs, translating insights into technical investments.
Requirements
- 8+ years of professional software engineering experience, including 2+ years leading teams or technical initiatives.
- At least 2 years building full stack systems at scale, ideally in high-throughput or marketplace environments.
- Experience with P2P or multi-sided marketplaces.
- Demonstrated strength in product engineering and understanding user needs.
- Strong architectural and technical sense to define a vision and drive execution.
- Proven ability to deliver complex projects that span multiple teams.
- Highly data-driven mindset, comfortable with experimentation and optimization.
- Exceptional communication and cross-functional leadership skills.
- A track record of mentoring engineers and creating high-performance environments.
