Responsibilities
- Ensure the platform operates 24/7 and respond to incidents as required.
- Design and build enterprise platform capabilities, including tooling, CI/CD, security, and observability solutions.
- Drive continuous improvements in platform reliability, scalability, and operational excellence.
- Collaborate with Product Owners and engineering teams to define and execute platform roadmaps.
- Coach and mentor engineers to improve engineering quality, practices, and delivery velocity.
- Share engineering knowledge through presentations, blogs, videos, and community engagement activities.
- Develop APIs and integrations and work with AWS API Gateway.
Requirements
- Demonstrated system design and architecture knowledge.
- Hands-on experience with AWS services including Lambda, Step Functions, ECS/EKS, EC2, ALB/ELB, S3, Transit Gateway, NAT Gateway, VPC, VPC/Gateway Endpoints, IAM, CloudWatch, EBS, and DynamoDB.
- Strong proficiency in Python, with Go and Rust also listed as relevant programming languages.
- Experience with GitHub, GitHub Actions, Artifactory, and ArgoCD for version control and CI/CD.
- Hands-on Infrastructure as Code experience with Terraform, AWS CloudFormation, and AWS CDK.
- Solid understanding of Docker and Kubernetes.
- Experience with Splunk, Prometheus, Grafana, Observe, or equivalent logging, monitoring, and observability tools.
- Experience with API development and integrations and AWS API Gateway.
- Exposure to Temporal is preferred but not mandatory.
- Strong communication skills and a focus on continuous improvement and innovation.
