Base Salary
$142k - $213k/yr
Responsibilities
- Build technical solutions for complex business problems across the full software development lifecycle.
- Provide technical oversight across systems and applications and review proposed project solutions.
- Contribute to application-development strategies, standards, and procedures.
- Develop knowledge of business integrations and provide evaluative judgment in complex situations.
- Assess and manage risk, compliance, controls, and safeguarding of the firm, clients, and assets.
- Supervise the activity of others, create accountability, and work with product teams, business users, support teams, and external parties.
Requirements
- 6–10 years of relevant experience in the financial services industry.
- Proficiency in Java, JavaScript, or React.
- Experience building RESTful APIs with frameworks such as Spring.
- Experience with event-driven systems, microservices, micro-frontend user interfaces, AWS, Kafka, Kubernetes, and S3.
- Experience with TDD and clean-code principles, data structures, algorithms, and SQL.
- Senior-level applications-development experience, stakeholder and people-management experience, and demonstrated leadership.
- Proven project-management skills, knowledge of industry practices and standards, and strong written and verbal communication.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required; a master’s degree and investment-banking or financial-services experience are preferred.
