Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain secure, highly available, fault-tolerant, globally performant software deployed on AWS.
- Own and deliver frontend features and UI components across projects as needed.
- Investigate and resolve production issues and participate in DevOps on-call responsibilities.
- Write unit and integration tests and maintain code quality.
- Work with relational and NoSQL databases to build scalable and consistent data models.
- Instrument services with logs, metrics, and traces for observability, performance, and uptime.
- Contribute to technical documentation, code reviews, and mentoring.
- Collaborate with product, design, and engineering teams.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in a software engineering role.
- Demonstrated proficiency in Go, Python, and TypeScript.
- Familiarity with AWS technologies including EC2, Fargate, Lambda, S3, and CloudWatch.
- Hands-on experience with relational databases such as PostgreSQL and MySQL and NoSQL databases such as DynamoDB and MongoDB.
- Experience with CI/CD workflows, Kubernetes, GitHub Actions, DevOps tools, and Git-based deployment workflows.
- Strong experience with version control software, preferably Git.
- Hands-on frontend experience with React or Angular.
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
