Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain secure, highly available, fault-tolerant software on AWS.
- Own frontend features and UI components from design through delivery as needed.
- Investigate and resolve production issues and participate in DevOps on-call responsibilities.
- Work with relational and NoSQL databases to create scalable, efficient, and consistent data models.
- Instrument services with logs, metrics, and traces for observability, performance, and uptime.
- Perform unit and integration testing, contribute to documentation and code reviews, and mentor engineers.
- Collaborate with product, design, and engineering teams.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience in a software engineering role.
- Proficiency in Go, Python, and TypeScript.
- Familiarity with AWS services including EC2, Fargate, Lambda, S3, and CloudWatch.
- Hands-on experience with PostgreSQL or MySQL and NoSQL databases such as DynamoDB or MongoDB.
- Experience with Kubernetes, GitHub Actions, DevOps tools, Git-based workflows, and CI/CD technologies.
- Strong version-control experience, preferably with Git.
- Hands-on frontend capability with React or Angular.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
