Responsibilities
- Design, extend, and optimize large-scale, highly scalable, fault-tolerant backend systems with sub-second latency requirements.
- Build security capabilities that protect sensitive customer data flowing into and out of LLMs, GenAI applications, AI tools, and agents.
- Contribute to the architecture and evolution of Cyberhaven’s AI Security platform.
- Solve distributed-systems scaling challenges through performance analysis, profiling, optimization, and troubleshooting.
- Build and ship production backend services using Go.
- Build API-level integrations and connectors with enterprise SaaS and AI platforms.
- Develop secure-by-design software that processes untrusted data and communicates with hundreds of thousands of endpoints.
- Collaborate with engineers and product teams across distributed teams in India, Europe, and the US.
Requirements
- 4+ years of software engineering experience building backend systems used at scale.
- Strong hands-on experience with Go and a track record of shipping production backend services in Go.
- Production experience building and operating distributed systems, microservices, and Kubernetes-based applications.
- Experience working with databases at significant scale; GCP BigTable, BigQuery, or Spanner experience is a plus.
- Experience profiling, troubleshooting, and optimizing distributed applications using large databases, event streams, or streaming platforms.
- Experience building API-level integrations or connectors with enterprise SaaS applications is a plus, with AI/LLM platform experience especially relevant.
- Understanding of reliability, performance, and security when processing large volumes of sensitive or untrusted data.
- Excellent English verbal and written communication skills and comfort collaborating with distributed teams.
- Customer-centric mindset and willingness to work through ambiguous technical challenges in a fast-paced environment.
- Based in Bangalore.
