Responsibilities
- Modernize monolithic systems by refactoring them into distributed, scalable architectures.
- Design, build, and operate robust, high-availability software for large-scale global usage.
- Make major code design decisions and develop technical solutions aligned with long-term engineering frameworks.
- Enhance developer experience through improved tooling and engineering practices.
- Contribute to code reviews, knowledge sharing, and global engineering standards.
- Mentor and coach other engineers through complex technical challenges.
Requirements
- Experience delivering and operating complex large-scale distributed or high-availability systems.
- Strong software engineering fundamentals and the ability to work across adjacent technologies.
- Experience designing and building high-quality software with multiple languages and tools.
- Ability to lead major code design decisions and contribute to broader technical solutioning.
- Experience with automated testing, refactoring, and modern delivery practices.
- Passion for maintaining technical knowledge, sharing expertise, and mentoring other engineers.
