Responsibilities
- Design and communicate high-level SAP solution architectures that address current and future business needs.
- Gather and analyze requirements, perform feasibility and impact assessments, and define initial and target solution architectures.
- Lead cross-solution architecture activities in the SAP environment and guide solution development and modifications.
- Advise business stakeholders, Product Owners, and Product Managers on technical processes, functionality, and solution gaps.
- Coordinate external consultants and developers across support, change management, incident management, and DevOps setups.
- Apply IT governance, standards, SOPs, documentation requirements, and ITIL incident and service management practices.
- Support implementation planning, maintenance, testing, system acceptance, and user acceptance activities.
- Coach colleagues and share expertise in SAP Product Compliance and related technical domains.
Requirements
- 5–6 years of professional IT experience directly with relevant SAP modules and solutions.
- Very good application knowledge of SAP Product and REACH Compliance, SAP Product Safety, and/or SAP S/4HANA for Product Compliance.
- Good understanding of SAP material master and broad experience with Product Safety, Product Compliance processes, and related regulatory requirements.
- Participation in at least three full-cycle SAP implementation projects in a similar role or equivalent experience.
- Ability to lead alignment meetings and discussions with business and IT stakeholders.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, engineering, or an equivalent degree and/or experience.
- Advanced English reading, writing, listening, and speaking skills.
- Ability to work EMEA office hours and adjust working hours to collaborate with colleagues in California or China.
- Strong communication, analytical, collaborative, mentoring, and knowledge-sharing skills.
- Additional SAP module knowledge, project management or team coordination experience, regulated-environment experience, Computer System Validation experience, and stakeholder management or business consulting experience are advantageous.
