Responsibilities
- Own the pod’s full software delivery lifecycle from design through production and measurement, including quality.
- Design, build, and debug backend and frontend software with distributed-systems awareness.
- Use AI agents for code generation, testing, specification writing, and deployment.
- Evaluate and improve agent workflows, including steering documents, prompts, rules, and skills.
- Write clean, well-tested code and own application quality end to end.
- Act as the initial on-call responder for application health and stability.
- Mentor junior developers and contribute to shared tooling, knowledge bases, and the agent foundation kit.
Requirements
- At least five years of experience with Java and working knowledge of Angular.
- Proficiency in at least one of Java/Spring Boot, Python, .NET, or Go, along with Angular.
- Knowledge of distributed systems, data structures, API design, database concepts, and cloud computing.
- Experience with clean-code practices, test-driven development, CI/CD, and version control.
- Experience with application monitoring, observability, and production debugging.
- Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, microservices, and event-driven architectures.
- Proficiency with AI-assisted development tools for code generation, pair programming, and automated testing.
- Experience with agent systems, MCP/tool protocols, or AI-augmented workflows.
- Experience designing evaluation or observability strategies for AI outputs.
- Contributions to shared tooling, internal platforms, or open-source projects are preferred.
- Experience in a strictly regulated industry such as gaming, financial services, or healthcare is preferred.
