Base Salary

Responsibilities

Design, prototype, test, and document new software tools and techniques.
Grow capabilities for lidar data management, analysis, classification, and feature extraction tools.
Deploy tools that utilize deep learning technology to solve complex problems.
Grow expertise in using Triangulated Irregular Network (TIN) for surface modeling.
Help make 3D textured reality meshes useful for more than just visualization.
Sharpen skills in presenting and communicating technical topics.
Support spatial analysis on 3D features, including spatial proximity queries.

2+ years of experience in GIS or related field.
Proven track record solving complex problems involving lidar, TIN, and/or 3D geometry.
Excellent communication skills.
Bachelor’s degree in geography, earth science, planning, environmental studies, engineering, computer science, or statistics.
