Base Salary
$94k - $159k/yr
Responsibilities
- Translate customer needs and industry trends into technical requirements for future ArcGIS Enterprise releases
- Design and evolve end-to-end observability pipelines covering metrics, logs, traces, and events
- Contribute to AI-driven root cause analysis capabilities for troubleshooting and incident resolution
- Partner on data-driven models for customer sizing and capacity guidance
- Collaborate with product and development engineers to build ArcGIS Enterprise releases
- Create workflows and guidance for help topics, blog articles, presentations, tutorials, and samples
- Troubleshoot and triage customer issues
- Review automated test results, report software quality and stability, and certify software quality
Requirements
- At least five years of experience with ArcGIS Enterprise and ArcGIS platform technologies
- Strong understanding of observability concepts including metrics, logs, traces, SLIs, and SLOs
- Hands-on experience with Prometheus and Grafana
- Robust experience developing and implementing test plans and test automation
- Experience with Python, Java, or other scripting languages
- Ability to translate customer observability needs into technical requirements
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, time-management, and organizational skills
- Proven ability to build and deliver quality software in a team environment
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, information systems, or a related technical field
- Preferred experience with capacity planning, performance engineering, and chaos engineering
- Preferred familiarity with AI and machine learning concepts applied to operational data
- Preferred knowledge of Kubernetes resource management, including requests, limits, throttling, and out-of-memory conditions
- Preferred experience building or operating large-scale distributed systems
- Preferred experience designing and deploying solutions in AWS or Azure
- A master’s degree in a relevant technical field is preferred
