Responsibilities
- Work on complex technical projects from requirements analysis through design, implementation, testing, and production launch.
- Implement APIs and tooling with attention to performance, code quality, robustness, and scalability.
- Identify and improve platform components used at scale by merchants and shoppers.
- Launch functionality quickly and iterate based on product needs.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and colleagues across time zones.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of software development experience in a fast-paced technology environment.
- Experience with Java, web services, REST APIs, webhooks, SQL, and PostgreSQL.
- Familiarity with complex large-scale distributed systems.
- Understanding of software engineering practices and interest in product knowledge.
- Full professional proficiency in English.
- Ability to work cross-functionally with Data Science, Frontend, and Product roles.
