Responsibilities

Drive the delivery of complex, large-scale iOS projects while maintaining quality, performance, and reliability.
Establish engineering best practices, coding standards, and architectural principles across the team.
Provide technical leadership on design decisions, complex engineering challenges, and technical strategy.
Mentor engineers through code reviews, technical coaching, pair programming, and knowledge sharing.
Improve platform scalability, application performance, maintainability, and overall platform health.
Lead complex technical initiatives, proof-of-concept projects, and technical explorations.
Create and review technical designs, architecture documents, and engineering proposals.
Communicate technical priorities, architectural trade-offs, and decisions across engineering, product, and design teams.
Foster a collaborative, inclusive, psychologically safe, and continuously improving engineering culture.

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
8+ years of software engineering experience, including at least 5 years developing iOS applications.
Expertise with Swift, Objective-C, UIKit, SwiftUI, and CoreData.
Experience with MVC and MVVM architectural patterns.
Experience designing and integrating RESTful APIs, JSON-based services, and GraphQL APIs.
Understanding of multithreading, concurrency, memory management, application performance optimization, and mobile application lifecycle management.
Experience developing applications with offline functionality and synchronization.
Strong knowledge of software engineering principles, design patterns, development methodologies, and industry best practices.
Experience leading complex technical initiatives and adapting plans to changing business priorities.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills across engineering, product, and design teams.
Ability to evaluate emerging technologies and recommend modern engineering approaches.
