Responsibilities
- Design, build, release, and maintain cross-platform mobile applications for iOS and Android.
- Lead complex features from technical design through production release.
- Design scalable mobile architecture and reusable component libraries.
- Improve mobile performance, reliability, security, monitoring, and production debugging.
- Implement integrations involving APIs, authentication, state management, offline support, push notifications, and third-party services.
- Conduct code reviews, define engineering standards, mentor junior engineers, and support technical initiatives.
- Collaborate with product, design, backend, QA, and engineering leadership.
- Use AI coding tools such as GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT, and Cursor responsibly.
Requirements
- 5–8 years of software development experience.
- At least 3 years of hands-on React Native experience.
- Strong expertise in JavaScript, TypeScript, React, and cross-platform mobile development.
- Proven experience building, releasing, and maintaining iOS and Android applications.
- Experience with scalable mobile architecture, reusable component libraries, mobile performance optimization, automated testing, monitoring, and production debugging.
- Strong knowledge of REST and GraphQL APIs, authentication, state management, offline support, push notifications, and third-party integrations.
- Understanding of Xcode, Android Studio, native build systems, Git, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience conducting code reviews, defining engineering standards, mentoring junior engineers, and leading complex technical work.
- Strong communication, technical decision-making, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
- Preferred experience with Swift, Kotlin, native-module development, Expo, Firebase, Sentry, Crashlytics, React Native New Architecture, Fabric, TurboModules, AI/LLM or voice features, recommendation or generative features, and mobile-platform modernization.
