Responsibilities
- Build complex, highly scalable technical solutions for checkout products.
- Define architectural decisions and ensure delivery of reliable, state-of-the-art products.
- Lead and mentor an engineering team while collaborating with Product Managers, QA professionals, and Designers.
- Champion best practices in agentic engineering and leverage modern AI tooling.
- Work with cloud infrastructure and deployment pipelines in a dynamic international environment.
Requirements
- 10+ years of total professional experience, including at least 5–6 years as a Backend Developer.
- Proven experience leading or mentoring team members.
- Extensive experience with PHP 8+ in scalable, high-load environments.
- Deep expertise in Symfony and Laravel for building scalable applications.
- Strong proficiency with MySQL and Redis.
- Strong understanding of engineering principles, software architecture, and event-driven architecture.
- Hands-on experience with Kubernetes, Helm, AWS, and deployment pipelines such as GitLab or similar tools.
- Fluent written and spoken English communication skills.
- Experience with Golang or exposure to Generative AI and related technologies is a plus.
