Responsibilities

Solve difficult software problems and introduce useful technologies or patterns.
Release and validate software while developing deployment patterns as needed.
Lead software support, incident resolution, on-call support when applicable, and blameless reviews.
Develop reusable code modules and patterns for use across multiple teams.
Conduct exploratory work and build prototypes.
Guide code and design reviews and help establish team standards.
Provide technical documentation and demonstrations for technical and non-technical audiences.
Mentor team members and help improve technical capabilities.
Help leadership address technical debt, process issues, and team flow.

Demonstrated expertise solving innovative software-development problems.
Expertise with team technologies such as C#, JavaScript, TypeScript, Python, Angular, or AWS.
Experience developing software modules or patterns used across multiple teams.
Expertise designing integration tests, leading releases, and providing ongoing software support.
Experience facilitating Agile practices and artifacts such as user stories, backlog refinement, and sprint planning.
Experience mentoring and developing others.
Experience providing technical thought leadership.
Preferred bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related discipline.
Preferred seven years of professional software-engineering or similar experience.
Preferred cloud-environment expertise or advanced cloud-provider certification, CI/CD experience, and Agile certification.
