Base Salary
$99k - $135k/yr
Responsibilities
- Shape the architecture of several server applications with the engineering team.
- Develop prototypes, new capabilities, server applications, APIs, and production-ready infrastructure.
- Build infrastructure for multi-application communications, logging, alerts, authentication, and configuration.
- Create data-processing and analytics pipelines and optimize SQL queries.
- Develop test suites to verify server application reliability, performance, and behavior.
- Interface with users and developers to define and implement solutions.
- Prototype features and applications independently and collaboratively.
- Collaborate on system-wide technical decisions and continuously improve team processes.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
- At least 2 years of backend software development experience.
- At least 2 years of experience with Go, Java, JavaScript, Python, or an equivalent server language.
- At least 2 years of database experience using SQL or PL/SQL.
- Experience with concurrent computing and developing multithreaded or multiprocess software applications.
- Ability to obtain a U.S. Top Secret security clearance, requiring U.S. citizenship under U.S. government rules.
- Preferred: a relevant Bachelor of Science degree with 2+ years of related experience, a bachelor’s degree with 6+ years of directly related experience, or 10+ years of relevant experience.
- Preferred: active U.S. Top Secret security clearance, NodeJS, ReactJS, Go, Java, C++, GitLab, GitLab Runner, Docker, Kubernetes, Kafka, NiFi, Redis, RabbitMQ, AWS, and infrastructure development experience.
- Preferred: experience with RESTful APIs, project leadership, distributed and scalable software architecture, and modern architectural styles.
