Responsibilities
- Own the Electron main process and React renderer architecture, including the security boundary between them.
- Design and evolve the local SQLite schema, migrations, synchronization, upsert logic, and data integrity practices.
- Lead integrations with NetSuite, Jira, Confluence, and Perforce, including authentication and error handling.
- Define testing, linting, code review, and release practices while improving maintainability.
- Mentor and unblock engineers through code reviews, pairing, and technical guidance.
- Partner with sales, finance, and operations stakeholders to scope initiatives and define the technical roadmap.
- Own cross-platform packaging and automatic updates using electron-builder and electron-updater.
- Shape the Contract Analyzer module, including document extraction and optional AI-assisted analysis.
Requirements
- At least 4 years of production software development experience with JavaScript and Node.js, including project or team leadership experience.
- Deep React expertise and strong architectural judgment for component and state design.
- Strong SQL and relational data modeling skills, including schema evolution, migrations, and synchronous database access patterns.
- Strong understanding of Electron's process model, IPC, context isolation, and secure preload bridges, or comparable desktop/security-model experience.
- Experience designing and maintaining third-party API integrations using real-world OAuth or token-based authentication.
- Strong Git and GitHub proficiency, including branching workflows, pull requests, code reviews, and GitHub Actions for CI/CD.
- Demonstrated ability to set technical direction through architecture decisions, testing strategy, and engineering mentorship.
- Excellent communication skills and comfort working directly with non-technical business stakeholders.
- Preferred experience with Electron desktop applications and electron-builder release packaging.
- Preferred familiarity with NetSuite, SuiteQL, ERP systems, CPQ or quoting domains, document generation, templating, and finance or sales operations workflows.
- Preferred experience with docxtemplater, docx, mammoth, pdf-parse, xlsx, or production LLM/AI SDK integrations.
