Base Salary

$53k - $93k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain Web UI automation using Playwright with TypeScript.
  • Build and enhance scalable, reusable, and maintainable automation frameworks.
  • Create automated coverage for web applications, APIs, and end-to-end workflows across integrated platforms.
  • Perform API automation testing using Rest Assured and support REST service validation.
  • Integrate automated test execution into CI/CD pipelines and support continuous quality validation.
  • Partner with developers, business analysts, product owners, and quality engineering teams on quality initiatives.
  • Contribute to automation strategy, framework improvements, and continuous quality improvement.
  • Use Generative AI tools such as GitHub Copilot and Microsoft Copilot to improve test design and development efficiency.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
  • At least 9 years of experience in Quality Assurance, test automation, or Software Development Engineer in Test roles.
  • Strong hands-on experience with Playwright and TypeScript, including automation framework design and maintenance.
  • Experience with Page Object Model, data-driven, hybrid, or BDD automation frameworks.
  • Experience with Rest Assured, Postman, and REST API automation.
  • Experience designing and executing end-to-end automation across multiple integrated applications and platforms.
  • Strong understanding of software testing methodologies, SDLC, STLC, defect management, and quality engineering practices.
  • Experience with Azure DevOps, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD, and automated test execution pipelines.
  • Experience in Agile/Scrum environments and participation in standard sprint ceremonies.
  • Knowledge of Git, Jira, and Confluence.
  • Experience using GitHub Copilot, Microsoft Copilot, ChatGPT, or similar AI-assisted testing and development tools.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, debugging, and troubleshooting skills.
