Responsibilities

Build products and systems from scratch across frontend, backend, and infrastructure.
Ship features with strong attention to user experience, performance, and reliability.
Lead technical decisions and make speed-versus-quality tradeoffs.
Prototype quickly, run experiments, and iterate based on user feedback and product signals.
Integrate AI/ML tools, LLM-based systems, and intelligent APIs into product experiences.
Own production systems, including debugging, performance tuning, and reliability.
Collaborate directly with the CITO, VP of Engineering, and Product on features, strategy, and roadmap.

Proficiency in TypeScript, React, Node.js, Python, and JavaScript.
Experience with Google Cloud or other cloud infrastructure, including provisioning, scaling, and cost management.
Ability to design scalable abstractions, distributed systems, and resilient infrastructure.
Strong understanding of SQL and NoSQL databases, APIs, and data modeling.
Hands-on experience with AI/ML systems or LLM-based application development.
Comfort working end to end across the stack.
Track record of shipping full-stack products in a small, high-velocity, early-stage environment.
Experience owning databases, APIs, user interfaces, and infrastructure.
Production experience applying AI/ML or LLMs, beyond experimentation.
Demonstrated project work and portfolio are weighted more heavily than titles or years of experience.
