Responsibilities
- Lead full-stack Drupal development, including custom modules, theming, and integrations.
- Drive technical design and architecture decisions for complex web solutions.
- Mentor and coach junior developers and promote coding, testing, and documentation best practices.
- Collaborate with QA, product owners, designers, and IT leaders on secure, accessible, high-quality deliverables.
- Oversee code reviews, coding standards, security requirements, and accessibility compliance.
- Develop and maintain automation for testing, deployment, and monitoring.
- Assess change impacts, recommend alternatives, and perform risk analysis.
- Communicate project status, risks, and priorities using Jira and Confluence.
- Contribute to sprint planning, release strategies, and other Agile activities.
- Lead technical discussions, influence cross-functional decisions, and advocate for scalable tools and practices.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 5–7 years of professional Drupal development experience, preferably in a senior or lead role.
- Strong proficiency with Drupal APIs, PHP, Twig, HTML, CSS/SASS, and JavaScript.
- Solid debugging skills and responsive web development experience.
- Familiarity with GitHub or Bitbucket, branching strategies, and code review workflows.
- Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Preferred: deep Salesforce experience with Apex, Visualforce, Lightning components, and Salesforce APIs.
- Preferred: familiarity with Mulesoft and enterprise integration patterns.
- Preferred: Acquia hosting experience and Acquia Certified Developer certification or higher.
- Preferred: strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines, automation, and performance optimization.
- Strong written and verbal communication, documentation, organizational, and technical leadership skills.
