Base Salary

$134k - $149k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, and operate cloud-native infrastructure for production workloads.
  • Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for applications and ML systems.
  • Develop and manage infrastructure-as-code for consistent, scalable, and repeatable environments.
  • Improve deployment reliability through automation, testing, and rollout strategies.
  • Support AI/ML workloads through model deployment, scaling, and monitoring.
  • Integrate AI-assisted tools into DevOps workflows for alert-quality improvement, incident triage, root-cause analysis, capacity planning, and performance optimization.
  • Design and maintain observability solutions using metrics, logs, and traces.
  • Participate in on-call rotations and lead incident response for complex issues.
  • Improve system resilience through proactive automation.
  • Partner with application, platform, data, software engineering, and IT teams to deliver reliable systems.
  • Provide technical guidance and code reviews for DevOps team members.
  • Contribute to architecture discussions and influence technical direction.
  • Document standards, runbooks, and best practices.

Requirements

  • 5–8+ years of progressive experience designing and implementing large-scale automated infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Strong experience with AWS, GCP, or Azure.
  • Hands-on experience with cloud-native architectures, containers, Kubernetes, infrastructure as code, and CI/CD systems.
  • Experience with Terraform, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins, or ArgoCD.
  • Strong knowledge of GitOps workflows and blue/green and canary deployment strategies.
  • Proficiency in Python, Bash, Go, or similar scripting or programming languages, including writing custom deployment, monitoring, and systems scripts.
  • Experience with monitoring, logging, alerting, and observability tools.
  • Exposure to AI/ML workloads, including model deployment, scaling, and monitoring.
  • Understanding of distributed systems, networking, security principles, high-availability architectures, and complex operational environments.
  • Ability to own systems from design through production support and communicate technical trade-offs effectively.
  • Willingness and ability to mentor teammates, collaborate cross-functionally, and provide technical guidance and code reviews.
  • Preferred: 3+ years in healthcare technology or another highly regulated SaaS environment.
  • Preferred: experience with AI-driven monitoring or AIOps tools, cloud cost optimization, security automation, and DevSecOps practices.
  • Preferred certifications include AWS Certified DevOps Engineer–Professional, Microsoft Certified DevOps Engineer Expert, and Certified Kubernetes Administrator.
