Responsibilities
- Lead cloud assessments, solution architecture, and design activities for customer solutions and platforms.
- Define scalable, secure, resilient, and operationally effective cloud architectures.
- Guide design-to-operation transitions and provide technical consulting to delivery, engineering, and operations teams.
- Define architecture principles, standards, governance practices, integration patterns, and reusable engineering approaches.
- Lead architecture reviews evaluating security, maintainability, cost optimization, automation maturity, and operational effectiveness.
- Drive AI-assisted engineering, automation, intelligent operational capabilities, incident response improvements, and engineering productivity.
- Mentor architects and engineers and align global technical and business stakeholders around architecture decisions.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, information technology, engineering, or a related field.
- 10+ years of experience in cloud engineering, platform engineering, DevOps, SRE, or architecture roles.
- Deep expertise designing secure, scalable, and resilient solutions on at least one major public cloud platform, with Azure preferred.
- Strong understanding of cloud-native architectures, distributed systems, networking, security, operational design, architecture governance, and review methodologies.
- Experience defining architecture principles, standards, reusable engineering practices, automation, incident response, and service lifecycle management.
- Experience evaluating AI-enabled solutions, proofs of concept, or engineering productivity capabilities.
- Preferred experience with Kubernetes, AKS, OpenShift, container platforms, Terraform, Helm, GitOps, CI/CD, Grafana, Prometheus, Loki, OpenTelemetry, FinOps, cloud governance, security architecture, or compliance practices.
- Strong stakeholder management, consulting, communication, innovation, and continuous-learning abilities.
