Responsibilities
- Scale Netflix developer platforms from early adoption to broad usage through high-leverage product decisions and cross-company partnership.
- Own the Netflix Cloud developer experience across discovery, configuration, deployment, operation, and debugging.
- Build and operate Tier-0 control planes for core infrastructure workflows, with accountability for reliability, scalability, and cost.
- Build sandboxing, identity, governance, and shared human/agent interfaces so AI agents can interact safely with Netflix infrastructure.
- Define platform defaults, provider guarantees, guardrails, and the boundary between self-service and platform controls.
Requirements
- Have built or scaled and owned a developer platform in production.
- Demonstrate strong product judgment focused on customer goals, adoption constraints, and product leverage.
- Be comfortable setting direction with minimal structure, iterating through proofs of concept, and simplifying complex problems.
- Be comfortable working in multi-language, multi-service codebases using Java, Kotlin, Go, or equivalent technologies.
- Have strong distributed systems fundamentals, including race conditions, signal synchronization, control plane design, and experience with system failures.

- Annual salary plus a choice of compensation allocation between salary and stock options; the stated salary range is $499,000.00-$900,000.00.
