Responsibilities
- Own custom-solution development end to end, from technical design through implementation, testing, and release.
- Partner with customers, consultants, and internal teams to define use cases, validate solutions, and gather feedback.
- Build customer-facing React.js and TypeScript interfaces, backend services, and integrations with Staffbase and third-party APIs.
- Mentor mid-level engineers and help establish team structure, engineering standards, and development practices.
- Participate in code reviews, produce well-tested code, and automate workflows where useful.
Requirements
- Typically 5+ years of professional fullstack development experience and ownership of solutions from concept to delivery.
- Strong React.js, TypeScript, and JavaScript skills with backend experience in Kotlin, Java, or Node.js.
- Experience working with REST APIs, SDKs, and external-system integrations.
- Experience mentoring or guiding less-experienced developers and bringing structure to team processes.
- Ability to work directly with stakeholders to translate business needs into technical solutions and validate outcomes.
- Strong focus on quality, clean code, testing, continuous learning, and collaborative work.
- Fluent written and spoken English and German are required.
- Preferred experience includes Go, MongoDB, Docker, Kubernetes, GitHub Actions, Terraform, Prometheus, Grafana, professional services or consulting, customer-facing custom solutions, SSO, SAML, OIDC, SCIM, and microservices architecture.
