Responsibilities
- Build and operate Python backend services on AWS, including Lambda functions, DynamoDB, Aurora, and event-driven production pipelines.
- Design and maintain the distributed execution engine that runs customer workflows.
- Contribute to AI initiatives such as MCP servers and agentic copilots.
- Own systems end-to-end from architecture and implementation through deployment, monitoring, and incident response.
- Make architectural decisions focused on latency, reliability, scalability, and system trade-offs.
- Conduct code reviews, mentor teammates, and improve development tooling and processes.
- Collaborate directly with Product and Design to shape the product.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of professional full-stack software engineering experience.
- A proven record of leading complex projects in a senior capacity for 2 or more years.
- Deep expertise in React.
- Experience with Design Systems and consistent user experiences across product areas.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, including alignment of technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to work in a hybrid model from the Berlin headquarters, London office, or Iași hub.
- AWS serverless experience at scale with Lambda, SAM, CloudFormation, DynamoDB, and Aurora is preferred.
- Strong system design skills and comfort making and defending architectural trade-offs are preferred.
