Responsibilities
- Build, modify, and maintain React web applications with cross-browser and cross-platform compatibility.
- Build and maintain ETL jobs to help customers store and organize data in the Yext Knowledge Graph.
- Advise engineering and business stakeholders on best practices, compatibility issues, and technical tradeoffs.
- Improve development tooling to enhance software quality, iteration speed, and maintainability.
- Collaborate across engineering, product, design, and project management.
- Write clean, tested, and well-structured code.
- Own projects from kickoff through delivery while participating in peer code reviews.
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science or higher in Computer Science, a related field, or similar college-level education.
- Familiarity with frontend technologies including React, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Ability to work across frontend and backend technologies.
- Openness to new technologies and creative solutions in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
- Preferred: 2–5 years of relevant software engineering experience.
- Preferred: full-stack development experience with React, TypeScript, JavaScript, Node.js, Python, Go, and/or Java.
- Preferred: contributions to open-source projects.
- Preferred: experience with agentic coding tools.
