Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and implement AI models and applications for natural language processing, computer vision, speech recognition, and machine learning use cases.
- Create effective prompts for large language models and other AI systems.
- Build scalable, robust, documented API-based services exposing AI functionality.
- Integrate OpenAI platforms, APIs, and services into applications.
- Optimize AI models and services for performance, scalability, and efficiency using techniques such as pruning, quantization, and parallelization.
- Develop unit, integration, validation, and other testing strategies for AI models and services.
- Create documentation, tutorials, and guides and share AI development knowledge across the organization.
- Research emerging AI techniques, algorithms, and methodologies.
- Collaborate with software engineers, data scientists, product managers, and UX designers to deliver AI solutions.
Requirements
- Hands-on experience building generative AI applications and working with large language models.
- Experience with AI patterns including RAG, one-shot and multi-shot prompting, natural language processing, and computer vision.
- Experience developing prompts for LLM systems.
- Experience developing APIs and services.
- Experience with cloud-native application development.
- Experience using TypeScript, JavaScript, or Python to develop AI applications.
- Knowledge of AI model development, optimization, testing, validation, and integration practices.
- Azure OpenAI or general OpenAI experience is preferred.
- Hands-on Microsoft Azure Cloud experience is preferred.
- Full-stack development experience is a plus.
