Base Salary
$157k - $230k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and operate Atticus web applications with emphasis on performance, modularity, extensibility, and reliability.
- Collaborate with product and design to evaluate and refine product details and acceptance criteria.
- Architect, design, write, review, and test code with other software engineers.
- Build core tools that help law firms deliver consistent, quality client experiences.
- Partner across Atticus departments to expand the platform and support its mission.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of experience building production full-stack applications with modern languages and frameworks.
- Experience building and optimizing React-based user interfaces.
- Experience designing and operating reliable, scalable backend systems and APIs.
- Ability to partner closely with product and design to clarify requirements and deliver user-focused solutions.
- Good judgment regarding code quality, including when and how to test.
- Comfort owning production services, including deployment, monitoring, and troubleshooting.
- Experience with Google Cloud Platform, Kubernetes, Terraform, Docker, or Golang is a plus.
- Experience building software for complex-workflow industries such as legal, healthcare, or financial services is a plus.
- Experience evolving systems as teams and traffic scale is a plus.
- Interest in improving internal tooling, developer experience, or team processes is a plus.
