Responsibilities
- Develop application code and automated tests for a distributed computing system.
- Contribute to architecture, design, technical research, and technology recommendations.
- Conduct code reviews and collaborate with team members, testers, and business users.
- Analyze test and production issues related to functionality, scalability, testability, security, and resiliency.
- Foster automation and support the development of build pipelines.
- Maintain and improve team standards and practices.
- Provide training, mentoring, and guidance to junior team members.
- Assist with hiring qualified personnel.
Requirements
- BS degree in Technology or equivalent work experience.
- At least five years of professional software engineering experience in a backend or full-stack capacity.
- Demonstrated contributions to system design and architecture.
- Experience with test and build automation using CI/CD pipelines.
- Understanding of databases, web frameworks, enterprise integration concepts, and distributed systems.
- Experience with Java, Spring, SQL, Hibernate, and Kafka.
- Experience with microservice architecture.
- Familiarity with cloud technologies and knowledge of OpenShift, Docker, and Kubernetes.
- Good communication skills and a working command of English.
- Experience with Angular is a plus.
