Senior Software Engineer: Agentic Development Enablement

Responsibilities
- Investigate safe enterprise usage patterns for agentic development tools such as Claude Code and GitHub Copilot.
- Design and implement guardrails, controls, and engineering patterns for AI-assisted development.
- Contribute to endpoint and platform observability, telemetry, and policy enforcement.
- Define consistent controls across local development environments and CI/CD pipelines.
- Explore containerised and backend-offloaded development environments.
- Conduct research, proof-of-concept work, and technical experimentation.
- Collaborate across engineering, platform, security, and enterprise teams to convert concepts into operating solutions.
- Help establish scalable governance, rollout, and developer adoption practices.
Requirements
- Strong hands-on software engineering experience.
- Broad technical understanding across developer tooling, cloud platforms, operating systems, desktop environments, security controls, observability, telemetry, and CI/CD.
- Experience with developer workflows and engineering ways of working rather than only end-user application delivery.
- Ability to convert research and experimentation into practical implementation in ambiguous problem spaces.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work across technical disciplines and stakeholder groups.
- Curiosity, sound engineering judgement, and comfort operating across discipline boundaries.
- Preferred experience with enterprise AI-assisted development tools, secure developer environments, enterprise guardrails, policy enforcement, containerised or remote development, telemetry, usage analytics, engineering reporting pipelines, regulated environments, or data engineering and analytics.
