Responsibilities
- Advise clients and internal teams on observability strategy, maturity, standards, frameworks, and roadmaps.
- Establish SLIs, SLOs, error budgets, and related reliability practices grounded in SRE principles.
- Support incident management, root-cause analysis, problem management, and blameless post-incident reviews.
- Implement and optimize Dynatrace across applications, infrastructure, and cloud services.
- Integrate Dynatrace with OpenTelemetry instrumentation and telemetry pipelines.
- Create dashboards, service maps, alerts, and insights connecting technical signals to customer and business outcomes.
- Develop metrics, logs, traces, and events strategies and automate monitoring, alerting, and remediation.
- Drive governance, onboarding, adoption, and communities of practice across multiple teams.
Requirements
- Experience with Dynatrace, Prometheus, Grafana, OpenTelemetry, distributed tracing, metrics, logs, traces, APM, synthetic monitoring, real-user monitoring, and service mapping.
- Ability to define and apply SRE practices including SLIs, SLOs, error budgets, incident management, and reliability improvement.
- Strong consulting, stakeholder engagement, thought leadership, and observability strategy capabilities.
- Dynatrace Associate or Professional certification is desirable.
- Must undergo BPSS checks and hold or be eligible for SC clearance, including eligibility based on at least five years of UK residency and no absence from the country exceeding 28 consecutive days during that period.
