Responsibilities
- Prepare test plans, test strategies, test scenarios, and test cases from business requirements.
- Develop, execute, and maintain manual and automated test suites.
- Design and maintain Playwright UI automation frameworks using TypeScript and Java.
- Build and maintain REST Assured-based API automation frameworks.
- Use AI coding assistants and agentic AI workflows for test generation, maintenance, self-healing locators, and automated execution.
- Perform functional, regression, integration, end-to-end, API, and performance testing.
- Execute load and performance testing with JMeter.
- Identify, document, prioritize, and track defects through closure.
- Collaborate with developers, product owners, and QA teams to support high-quality releases.
Requirements
- Require 4–7 years of experience in software testing.
- Require strong experience in test planning, test strategy, test case writing, and test execution.
- Require hands-on manual testing, bug reporting, and defect management experience.
- Require strong Playwright automation experience using TypeScript.
- Require experience with agentic AI workflows for test automation and AI-assisted software testing.
- Require proficiency with GitHub Copilot, Microsoft Copilot, ChatGPT, Cursor, or similar AI coding tools.
- Require strong proficiency in Java.
- Require REST API testing and API automation experience using REST Assured.
- Require hands-on experience with TestNG and Maven.
- Require knowledge of JMeter and load, stress, volume, and scalability testing.
- Require experience with Git and CI/CD tools; Jenkins is preferred.
- Require strong analytical, debugging, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Prefer Agile/Scrum experience, SQL and database validation knowledge, Allure or Extent Reports exposure, and understanding of AI-driven test generation, self-healing automation, and intelligent test analytics.
