Responsibilities
- Prepare test plans, test strategies, test scenarios, and test cases from business requirements.
- Develop, execute, and maintain manual and automated test suites.
- Design and maintain UI automation frameworks using Playwright with TypeScript and Java.
- Build and maintain REST Assured-based API automation frameworks.
- Use AI coding assistants and agentic AI workflows for test generation, maintenance, self-healing locators, and automated execution.
- Perform functional, regression, integration, end-to-end, API, load, stress, volume, scalability, and performance testing.
- Identify, document, prioritize, and track defects through closure.
- Collaborate with developers, product owners, and QA teams to support high-quality releases.
Requirements
- Requires 4–7 years of experience in software testing.
- Requires strong experience in test planning, test strategy, test case writing, test execution, manual testing, bug reporting, and defect management.
- Requires strong experience with Playwright automation using TypeScript and agentic AI workflows for test automation.
- Requires proficiency with GitHub Copilot, Microsoft Copilot, ChatGPT, Cursor, or similar AI coding tools.
- Requires strong proficiency in Java and experience with REST API testing and REST Assured automation.
- Requires hands-on experience with TestNG and Maven.
- Requires knowledge of JMeter and performance testing concepts.
- Requires experience with Git and CI/CD tools, with Jenkins preferred.
- Preferred qualifications include Agile/Scrum experience, SQL and database validation knowledge, exposure to Allure or Extent Reports, and understanding of AI-driven test generation, self-healing automation, and intelligent test analytics.
- Requires strong analytical, debugging, communication, and problem-solving skills.
