Responsibilities
- Define information architecture, governance, sharing, permissions, retention, and content ownership considerations for tenant consolidation.
- Develop tenant-to-tenant ODSP migration strategies covering discovery, mapping, staging, delta moves, cutover, and validation.
- Standardize ShareGate, Quest, or equivalent migration tooling configurations, schedules, throttling management, reporting, and error handling.
- Create runbooks for SharePoint site, OneDrive, Teams files, permissions, sharing-link remediation, and metadata validation tasks.
- Establish readiness and acceptance quality gates, evidence packs, and sampling methodologies.
- Define exception frameworks for large libraries, permissions sprawl, customizations, integrations, workflows, and blocked file types.
- Lead escalations involving permissions, throttling, content mismatches, orphaned identities, sharing links, and Teams dependencies.
- Produce factory performance metrics and align shared-data cutovers with identity, device, and Teams readiness.
Requirements
- Proven and evidenced enterprise-scale tenant-to-tenant SharePoint and OneDrive migration delivery.
- Deep SharePoint Online and OneDrive expertise, including permissions, sharing, information architecture, metadata, site templates, modern site constructs, and governance controls.
- Hands-on experience with ShareGate or comparable enterprise migration tooling and the ability to interpret logs and failure modes.
- Strong understanding of Teams-connected content storage and the relationship between Teams usage and SharePoint or OneDrive.
- Experience building factory-ready runbooks, validation gates, and evidence packs for repeatable execution.
- Strong troubleshooting, standards adoption, communication, coaching, and consulting skills.
- Experience in regulated or complex governance environments is preferred.
- Familiarity with PowerShell or Graph scripting and automation, and common ODSP migration pitfalls, is preferred.
