Director, Technical Consulting (Salesforce Principal Architect)

- Plan capacity, hire, train, mentor, and guide Technical Architects through CTA and AI upskilling paths.
- Advise clients and colleagues on emerging technologies, enterprise AI architecture, governance, and scalable solution design.
- Lead internal initiatives to grow the Industries Architects consulting practice and evolve AI-first delivery and engineering methods.
- Partner with Delivery Managers, Solution Architects, developers, and clients to architect and deliver Salesforce Industries Cloud solutions.
- Lead enterprise architecture, governance, technical workshops, architectural roadmaps, and stakeholder discussions.
- Lead project teams using Salesforce technologies and developer assistants while enforcing platform security and measuring AI performance and business value.
- Manage customer expectations, negotiate complex solutions, proactively manage risks, and maintain trusted executive relationships.
Requirements
- 18+ years of experience leading Salesforce technical consulting projects.
- Strong application design, data architecture, integration architecture, platform security, identity and access management, integration security, sharing and visibility, and data management experience.
- Expertise in Salesforce Industries Cloud, Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, or Vlocity OmniStudio, plus familiarity with Agentforce.
- Experience in at least one relevant industry domain, such as financial services, health and life sciences, manufacturing and automotive, or retail and consumer goods.
- Experience with architectural design patterns, Apex design patterns, Salesforce/Apex, Triggers, Lightning Flows, Lightning, LWC, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Web Components, and modern web and mobile technologies.
- Proficiency in English.
- Preferred CTA-related Salesforce certifications, including Admin, Developer, Sales, Service Clouds, System Architect, and Application Architect.
- Preferred OmniStudio Developer or Consultant certification and hands-on experience with generative AI and agentic delivery frameworks.
- Strong written and verbal communication, analytical ability, business-process optimization, relationship-building, conflict mediation, and business-metric and AI-evaluation experience.
