Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with client stakeholders to define requirements, deliverables, and expectations.
  • Design and integrate scalable predictive and generative AI solutions within custom Salesforce environments while optimizing performance, resource consumption, and platform governor limits.
  • Lead technical design sessions, document architecture, identify current-to-target-state gaps, and translate business requirements into Salesforce solutions.
  • Use advanced LLMs, AI developer assistants, and agentic evaluation frameworks to review architectural assumptions, simulate edge cases, and accelerate implementation.
  • Provide technical oversight and governance for Salesforce projects, including coding standards and code reviews.
  • Manage technical delivery of custom development, integrations, and data migration components.
  • Debug project issues, maintain target billable utilization, and liaise with Salesforce product teams to support implementations.
  • Participate in discovery sessions, technical deep dives, and proof-of-concept development for prospects when needed.
  • Travel to client sites, estimated at 50–75%.

Requirements

  • A degree or equivalent proven experience is required.
  • 9–14 years of CRM experience, including a minimum of 4–5 years on the Salesforce Marketing Cloud platform.
  • Expert understanding of Salesforce Marketing Cloud Engagement, Marketing Cloud Personalization, Marketing Cloud Insights, Marketing Cloud Account Engagement, Data Cloud, and Agentforce.
  • Moderate experience with Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Community Cloud, and Community Clouds.
  • Strong systems architecture skills, including scalable performance-driven design, design patterns, large data volume limitations, data sharing, and visibility considerations.
  • Familiarity with SAML, SSO, OAuth, data integration tools, ETL, CPQ, marketing automation, reporting, environment management, release management, code versioning, and deployment methodologies.
  • Experience with Salesforce platform security capabilities, including TLS and SSL.
  • Expert experience defining system architecture landscapes, identifying gaps between current and desired states, and delivering comprehensive solutions tied to business outcomes.
  • Strong background in designing and developing large web-based systems or completing a software product lifecycle.
  • Active Salesforce certifications or the ability to obtain relevant certifications upon hire.
  • Experience integrating Salesforce with different business systems through APIs.
