Responsibilities
- Evaluate requirements and proposed solutions to determine technical feasibility.
- Design system specifications, standards, and programming requirements and prepare and install solutions.
- Develop, configure, and customize NiCE Actimize software, including custom rules, features, and solution-level configurations.
- Test and approve software solutions, configurations, and customizations for quality and reliability.
- Analyze development and service issues and provide technical recommendations.
- Use configuration management systems, build processes, debuggers, and other software engineering tools throughout development.
- Participate in peer code reviews and provide constructive technical feedback.
- Perform root cause analysis and define corrective actions.
- Document and demonstrate solutions using diagrams, clean code, and meaningful comments.
- Interact with customers to understand requirements and collaborate with SE Leads and implementers on delivery.
Requirements
- 4–8 years of relevant experience in software development, implementation, or professional services delivery.
- Strong hands-on experience with Java 11+ and J2EE.
- Strong hands-on experience with JavaScript, jQuery, HTML, Web Services/APIs, XML, and XSL.
- Experience with MS SQL, Oracle, and/or PostgreSQL databases; Cassandra knowledge is advantageous.
- Working knowledge of Windows and Linux operating systems.
- Hands-on experience implementing and tailoring NiCE Actimize solutions in client environments.
- Experience with solution-level configuration, custom rule development, feature development, and client-specific requirements.
- Hands-on experience with public cloud platforms such as AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
- Experience supporting environment provisioning, compute resource administration, deployment, and application infrastructure operations.
- Strong communication, problem-solving, written English, and spoken English skills.
- Tableau or other reporting and visualization tool experience is advantageous.
- Exposure to financial crime, AML, payment fraud, or trading compliance is advantageous.
- Experience in customer-facing implementation or consulting roles is advantageous.
