Responsibilities
- Develop, configure, and customize Actimize software features and functionality according to design documents and enterprise software standards.
- Work with architects, business analysts, customer teams, and implementers to understand requirements and design and implement customer solutions.
- Perform SQL and database development involving large volumes of data in complex Oracle or MS SQL environments.
- Plan and perform unit and functionality testing, debug implementations, and ensure designs meet customer needs.
- Support customers by resolving functionality problems and interface with R&D, Professional Services, and Customer Support groups.
- Complete complex implementation tasks independently in a global, multidisciplinary, and matrixed environment.
- Occasionally work at client sites or across different time zones.
Requirements
- Hands-on experience with SQL and handling large volumes of data.
- Experience developing in complex Oracle or MS SQL database environments.
- Strong debugging, analytical, problem-solving, communication, and self-learning skills.
- Exposure to application servers, HTML, JavaScript, CSS, Unix, and basic Unix commands.
- Familiarity with object-oriented programming concepts and coding concepts for scalable, multi-user, secure software.
- Ability to develop and configure enterprise-grade software features independently with strong attention to detail and task-planning skills.
- High-level written and verbal English and experience operating in a global environment.
- Actimize knowledge or development experience is advantageous.
- Professional services or implementation experience is advantageous.
