Responsibilities
- Design, build, test, deploy, and provide production support for complex cloud-native full-stack applications on Google Cloud.
- Gather requirements, translate client challenges into technical designs, and serve as a technical advisor throughout delivery.
- Lead and mentor onshore and offshore project teams, conduct peer reviews, and collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders.
- Apply modern engineering practices, Terraform-based infrastructure as code, and Agile delivery methods.
- Build data pipelines and analytics solutions using BigQuery, Dataflow, and Looker.
- Develop generative and agentic AI solutions using Vertex AI, Gemini models, and Retrieval-Augmented Generation.
- Design SecOps and cyber defense solutions integrating Chronicle, Mandiant, and Security Command Center, including automated response workflows.
- Deliver customer data, contact center, cloud modernization, infrastructure, and Google Workspace integration solutions.
- Create reusable offerings, POVs, accelerators, reference architectures, estimates, and outcome-focused solutions.
Requirements
- At least 7 years of software engineering experience with hands-on GCP delivery and production support.
- At least 2–3 years building and operating solutions using GCP products such as Cloud Run, GKE, BigQuery, Dataflow, Vertex AI, Apigee, Chronicle, or Security Command Center.
- Hands-on experience designing, building, and running GCP solutions rather than only hosting custom applications on GCP.
- Strong experience with an object-oriented programming language such as Python, Java, or Node.js.
- Knowledge of GCP engineering fundamentals including Cloud Run or GKE, Terraform, CI/CD, observability, IAM, OAuth2/OIDC, and secrets management.
- Domain depth in at least one of Customer 360, CCAI/Contact Center, cloud modernization, or Data & AI.
- Experience leading a small GCP pod through solution design, estimation, code reviews, and client communication.
- Strong solutioning and offering mindset, including reusable assets, POVs, estimation, and value-based outcomes.
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field.
- Google Cloud certifications are preferred.
