Responsibilities
- Lead solution architecture and design for strategic initiatives across the OTT platform ecosystem.
- Own solution delivery from concept through implementation and production release.
- Design scalable, secure, resilient, and maintainable solutions and define functional and non-functional requirements.
- Drive architectural evolution by assessing existing systems, identifying improvements, and evaluating emerging technologies and AI capabilities.
- Conduct architecture reviews, mitigate technical risks and dependencies, and promote continuous quality improvement.
- Provide hands-on architectural guidance, governance, and decision-making support to engineering teams.
- Collaborate with Product, Engineering, Delivery, Business, Operations, Programme Management, and external partners.
- Define requirements for responsible AI use, privacy, security, observability, and governance where AI capabilities are involved.
Requirements
- 6+ years of experience as a Solution Architect or in a similar role designing and delivering large-scale technology solutions.
- Deep understanding of OTT architectures and domains, including subscriptions, monetization, identity and access management, content and metadata management, and related platform services.
- Experience designing and delivering scalable distributed systems using Microservices and Event-Driven Architecture principles.
- Strong knowledge of cloud-native architectures and services, preferably AWS.
- Expertise integrating third-party vendor solutions with in-house platforms.
- Practical understanding of Generative AI, Machine Learning, and AI-enabled platform capabilities.
- Experience using AI-assisted tools for architecture, analysis, documentation, engineering productivity, and problem-solving while validating their outputs.
- Hands-on experience with technologies such as Node.js, Java, Python, or Go, along with strong database knowledge.
- Experience analyzing and optimizing business processes, operating models, and technology landscapes.
- Strong documentation, architecture methodology, communication, stakeholder management, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Computer Science, or equivalent practical experience.
