Base Salary
$251k - $310k/yr
Responsibilities
- Lead software architecture and infrastructure development for onboard model consolidation across multiple onboard subsystems.
- Design and build an onboard framework supporting flexible and efficient model integration and inference in onboard and simulation environments.
- Align and unify model data-generation subsystems across training-data preparation and model inference.
- Develop simulation solutions for robust testing and efficient evaluation and validation of consolidated models.
- Work closely with model teams to productionize unified models.
- Establish software development best practices and technologies that accelerate model development and releases.
Requirements
- 8+ years of professional software development experience on large-scale products.
- BS or MS in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Robotics, Physics, Mathematics, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Extensive experience designing and building large-scale, high-performance C++ software architecture for mission-critical systems or ML inference.
- Proven track record leading complex, cross-functional engineering projects as a technical lead.
- Deep understanding of ML deployment, inference frameworks, and associated developer tooling.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills with cross-organizational partner teams.
- Preferred: Master’s or PhD in Computer Science, Machine Learning, Robotics, or a related field.
- Preferred: Experience with data pipelines and feature extraction for machine-learning models.
- Preferred: Experience in autonomous driving, especially onboard compute, perception, or planning systems.
- Preferred: Experience with hardware accelerators such as TPUs and GPUs and ML model inference in edge or onboard environments.
