Base Salary
$125k - $160k/yr
Responsibilities
- Build best-in-class product experiences across Verkada’s Command web platform using React
- Take less-than-fully-defined product ideas through completion
- Lead projects from design through implementation
- Collaborate cross-functionally with product, design, and engineering teams
- Develop cloud-managed access control products for managing doors, schedules, and user credentials
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related Engineering field
- At least 1 year of industry software engineering experience
- Strong JavaScript skills, including scoping, closures, contexts, prototypes, and classes
- Strong understanding and experience with React
- Strong CSS skills
- Architectural understanding of custom components, custom UI, and cross-browser support
- Understanding of HTTP and practical debugging techniques
- Working knowledge of at least one server-side framework and one database system
- Eye for design, product details, and polish
- Ability and willingness to work onsite five days per week
