Base Salary
$197k - $243k/yr
Responsibilities
- Build the GCS (Generic Challenge Configuration) Web UI from scratch so downstream feature teams can self-onboard and tune bot-defense rules.
- Own Device ID integration as a critical signal layer for reputation graphs and bot detection across signup, login, and game-join events.
- Develop high-throughput data processing pipelines and real-time request-level defenses.
- Create analytics views and alert groupers to identify false positives and monitor bot activity in real time.
- Translate backend detection intelligence into intuitive interfaces and help build a self-serve Bot-Defense-as-a-Service platform.
- Help address Roblox’s signup-protection Identity Gap and other sophisticated bot-defense challenges.
Requirements
- 4+ years of software development experience, including full-stack experience and backend work on complex production-grade systems.
- 2+ years of frontend development experience.
- A BS in Computer Science, Applied Math, Physics, Engineering, Statistics, or another technical field, or equivalent experience.
- Comfort working across multiple languages and technologies with an adaptable, resourceful approach.
- Ability to collaborate effectively, strengthen the team, and design solutions around user needs.
