Responsibilities
- Develop comprehensive feature test plans based on requirements.
- Define testing strategies, methodologies, and best practices.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand project goals and objectives.
- Create detailed and effective test cases.
- Automate and execute test cases, ensuring adequate test coverage.
- Analyze test results and provide feedback to the development team.
- Implement and maintain automated testing frameworks.
- Ensure the reliability and efficiency of automated test suites.
- Work closely with the development team to prioritize and validate identified issues.
- Provide regular status updates on the quality of the software.
- Identify areas for process improvement within the QA team.
- Implement best practices to enhance overall testing efficiency.
- Stay updated on industry trends and emerging QA technologies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, product managers, and business analysts.
- Participate in project planning and release management activities.
Requirements
- 2-4 years of proven experience as a Test engineer with extensive experience in quality assurance and automation testing.
- B.Tech/M.Tech in computer science, information technology or a related field.
- Experience in writing automation scripts using Behavior Driven Development (BDD) and knowledge of Test Driven Development (TDD) is a plus.
- Demonstrated experience in measuring and reporting quality-related metrics to identify trends and proactively solve problems.
- Experience using test case and test execution management tools (like Zephyr scale) and defect management tools (like Jira).
- Experience in writing SQL queries.
- Experience in Java scripting is a plus.
- Experience in mobile automation is a plus.
