Base Salary
$143k - $331k/yr
Responsibilities
- Build and scale foundational services for secure agent deployment and execution, governed tool integration, training and fine-tuning, observability, and evaluation.
- Design and evolve distributed runtimes and cloud services that run agents securely and reliably at enterprise scale.
- Improve tooling, abstractions, and automation for fine-tuning, evaluation, and optimization workflows.
- Debug and optimize interactions across models, data, hardware, and infrastructure.
- Drive technical direction, architectural decisions, design tradeoffs, and long-term platform strategy.
- Champion operational excellence, secure-by-design practices, compliance, and responsible AI.
- Collaborate with CoreAI and Azure partner teams to deliver production-ready platforms.
- Provide technical leadership through design reviews, mentorship, rigorous engineering practices, and cross-team influence.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related technical field and 6+ years of technical engineering experience with coding in C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, Python, or equivalent experience.
- Ability to meet Microsoft, customer, and/or government security screening requirements, including the Microsoft Cloud Background Check.
- Preferred: master’s degree in computer science or a related technical field and 12+ years of technical engineering experience, or bachelor’s degree and 15+ years of experience, or equivalent experience.
